Android Essentials

Five week course

Unlock the full potential of your Android device! Discover how to easily get online, capture stunning photos, connect with loved ones, master apps, and much more. Your tablet adventure starts here!

Ready to get comfortable with your Android phone or tablet? Join our friendly five-week course, designed for beginners and novices! We’ll guide you step-by-step through the essentials—navigating the internet, snapping great photos, downloading and using apps, and managing email with confidence. By the end, you’ll feel right at home with your Android device and ready to explore its full potential. Perfect for those new to smart devices or looking for a solid, no-pressure introduction. Let’s get started together!

Android brands include: Samsung Galaxy, Google Pixel, Motorola Razr, One Plus, and others. (Apple iPhones do not use Android technology.)

Prerequisites: A Gmail address. Please bring your Gmail password with you to each session.

This class will meet twice per week. Please register for and attend all five weeks of class.

This Senior Planet from AARP class is being offered through the Senior Planet licensing program.

The Clifton Park-Halfmoon Public Library provides a wide range of materials, programs, and services to the residents of Clifton Park and Halfmoon. We are a member of the Southern Adirondack Library System. Our mission is to nurture and foster community connections by providing the space and resources for patrons to be educated, entertained, and enriched. Our vision is to be at the heart of our community. The go-to place to meet, learn, and do.
