Revolutionary Women
Celebarte America's 250th
Monday, June 08
6:00pm - 7:00pm
Join Vintage Visitors' Phyllis Chapman as she presents historic personifications of notable American women.
A view of the war that created our nation from the woman's perspective--famous and unknown heroines of the time! Our fight for independence could not have succeeded without the participation of women, in supporting the Continental Army, effectively boycotting British goods, maintaining homes and farms and, sometimes, even serving on the battlefield. Their service is fascinating not only in its variety, but in its genuine importance in our gaining independence.
