Guided Nature Walk
Tuesday, June 09
9:00am - 10:30am
Join us for a guided nature walk at Rexford's Mohawk Landing Nature Preserve. Addison Kubik of the Cornell Cooperative Extension will be sharing his knowledge as we explore this natural area.
Plants and animals don't follow laws, and invasive species especially love to play by their own rules! Join us at Mohawk Landing Nature Preserve to take a look at invasive species in the field, discuss the ways the wildlife doesn't always respect laws, and learn about the regulatory battles and challenges of the invasive species world.
The meeting spot will be the parking lot at Mohawk Landing Nature Preserve. Parking is limited so carpooling is encouraged.
DIRECTIONS: Entrance is immediately west of Bryan Drive, directly off of the south side of Riverview Road.
Please be aware that we will be in nature. There may be ticks, mosquitoes, strong sun, water on the trail, uneven footing, etc. Please dress appropriately.
This event is expected to occur rain or shine. Monitor your email and phone the night prior for any changes.
All programs are subject to change.
