Local author, Janine Cammarata, will present a journaling/memoir workshop.
Participants are invited to bring a son, a daughter, a sister, a brother, a parent, or a best friend to the presentation (although not required). The focus will be on how two related people see and respond to the same event in their lives in very different ways, similar to Tara Westover and her family members in Educated. Participants will have opportunities to write from various prompts and can choose to send to a friend or family member for clarifications or their perspective.
Bring your own journal, photo from a specific event if you have it, and a pen.
Janine will be selling and signing her various fiction and non-fiction books inspired by her own experiences and journaling.
Please register and then list a second person as your guest, if you're planning to bring someone (not required).
TTOB activities are sponsored by the Friends of the Library.
