Volunteers will help direct car traffic, collect donations, and assist collectors at their stations with unloading items from attendee cars. Volunteers must register to participate and are responsible for their own transportation to and from the event. Saratoga Recycles will be located in the SPAC Parking Lot, on the west side of Route 50. Volunteers, or their guardians if under the age of 18, will be required to sign waivers prior to the event.
The Great Give Back is a community service initiative created by the Suffolk County Public Library Directors Association and the Suffolk Cooperative Library System, in conjunction with the Nassau Library System. The mission of The Great Give Back is to provide a day of opportunities for the patrons of the Public Libraries of New York State to participate in meaningful, service-oriented experiences.
