Program Room A-B

Clifton Park Town Historian, John Scherer, explores how the nation, our state, and our town celebrated America's 200th birthday in 1976.

Join John in a celebration of America's 250th Birthday. He will be highlighting Clifton Park's celebration of the Bicentennial as an official Bicentennial Community and New York State's celebration which included the Bicentennial Barge that stopped at communities along New York State's waterways.

The Clifton Park-Halfmoon Public Library provides a wide range of materials, programs, and services to the residents of Clifton Park and Halfmoon. We are a member of the Southern Adirondack Library System. Our mission is to nurture and foster community connections by providing the space and resources for patrons to be educated, entertained, and enriched. Our vision is to be at the heart of our community.
