Computer Lab

Learn to create, edit, and share presentations with Google Slides. Get hands-on practice using templates, adding images and text, and downloading in different formats.

Google Slides is presentation software that’s available for free to anyone with a Gmail account! With Slides you can create presentations that can be downloaded as PDFs and in Microsoft PowerPoint format. In this 2-session workshop series, you’ll learn the basics of using templates, adding images and text, and sharing your presentations with Google Sheets.

Prerequisites: You must have a Gmail address to take this series. For help signing up for Gmail, call the Senior Planet Tech Hotline: 888-713-3495. This series is best suited for participants who are comfortable performing internet searches and filling out forms online.

This Senior Planet from AARP class is being offered through the Senior Planet licensing program.

This course level is appropriate for intermediate users and those wishing to improve their skills. Click here to see course level descriptions.
