YouthAstroNet: Explore the Universe
For grades 7-8
Monday, July 13
1:00pm - 5:00pm
The Harvard-Smithsonian Youth Astronomy Network sponsors this opportunity to explore space through hands-on activities and robotic telescopes. Capture space images, then enhance them using technology.
CPH Library has been chosen among a select group of educational sites to host this YouthAstroNet program. Learn more here: YouthAstroNet at the Center for Astrophysics
This is a four-day series meeting Monday through Thursday: 7/13, 7/14, 7/15, and 7/16. You are registering for the complete series. Content of each session will build upon the previous session. It is expected that participants will attend all four sessions. Projects will be on display at the Library following the program.
Please register using the name of the child participating, not the parent/guardian name. If your child attended this program in February 2026, please do not sign them up again. It will be the same content and we want to be able to accommodate all who are interested.
Younger siblings who are not registered for this program are welcome to explore the Children’s Library with an adult. We ask that parents and siblings do not remain in the room during this event.
Light refreshments will be served.
All programs are subject to change.
Photos or videos may be taken at this event. Click here to see our Photo Policy.
